My 25-year-old body was perfect. I didn’t think so at 25, but I know so now. I took it for granted. In my 40s, I suddenly had to eliminate things from my diet to maintain a consistent weight. Good-bye Nutter Butters dipped in whole milk, Good-bye Fast Food and coke, Good-bye bread before or with the meal. I also suddenly needed to exercise. Of course, we all need to exercise. But, not just for health reasons, it was obvious on my waistline when I was skipping the gym. Luckily, I had pretty healthy habits anyway, but even with the above changes and healthier habits, I slowly added weight.
Before I knew it, I was close to 50. I was not unhealthy, but I was unhappy with how my body continued to shift. My lower belly was soft, I suddenly had bra and flank fat bulges and my arms jiggled. Shawndelle started hooking me up to CoolSculpting, one pinchable area at a time. I was able to spot reduce and sculpt those areas I did not like and shed a layer of fat in the places that needed it. I had 20 cycles of CoolSculpting and then started the toning process with CoolTone and more focused exercise. I can tweak my body more easily by ramping up the exercise and CoolTone. As an aside, I have also found that CoolTone really reduces my low back pain due to increased core strength.
Although my body isn’t flawless, I can confidently express my satisfaction with it. While I attribute much of this to leading a healthy lifestyle, I am grateful to CoolSculpting and CoolTone for helping me maintain the desired leanness in those challenging areas.
