Virtual Plastic Surgery Consultations
Both of our double board-certified facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Mark Beaty and Dr. Celeste Nagy, offer virtual consultations. During this process, we can answer your questions and assess your individual goals in order to develop a custom treatment plan. For some procedures, we can also use advanced imaging and facial morphing software to help you preview your surgical results.

Planning Your Trip to Beaty Facial Plastic Surgery
Once your surgical plan has been finalized and a date has been set, our team can work with you to make travel arrangements.

When it comes to planning your stay, our team can help make recommendations for transportation, accommodations, food, leisure activities, and anything else that might be of interest. Both our Midtown Atlanta and Alpharetta offices are perfectly situated for those interested in exploring all that our beautiful, vibrant region has to offer.
Preparing For Facial Plastic Surgery
Our team will coordinate closely with you in the time leading up to your surgery date to ensure you feel confident and prepared for your visit, procedure, and recovery.
We will send you the relevant paperwork to fill out and request information about your medical history. We may also request that you get preparatory lab work or other clinical tests done ahead of your surgery date. Any prescriptions can be sent to your local pharmacy for you to pick up and bring to Atlanta with you.
We request that patients arrive in the area at least one day before their surgery so that we can have an in-person office visit prior to your procedure. At this time, you will meet with your surgeon and care team, review your treatment plan, sign consent forms, and go over important recovery and post-operative care instructions. Photos may also be taken during this visit.
On the day of surgery, you will arrive at the surgical facility at the designated time. Your care team will provide further instructions from there. Most surgeries are performed on an outpatient basis, meaning that you can return to your local accommodations the same day.
Recovery and Post-Surgery Follow-Up Visits
Patients are asked to remain in the Atlanta area for at least 7-10 days after surgery. The day after surgery, your surgeon or another member of your care team will see you for your first follow-up appointment. Sutures are typically removed about a week after surgery, at which point most patients are cleared to fly home.
Additional follow-up appointments can typically be conducted virtually. While we love getting to follow-up with patients in-person, we understand that this isn’t always possible. In cases where you have questions or concerns that cannot be adequately addressed virtually, we can often arrange to have you meet with a plastic surgeon that is more local to you.
