What is FaceTite ™ ? A non-surgical option for facelifting and tightening.

What is FaceTite  ?

FaceTite  is a minimally-invasive cosmetic procedure that can provide substantial lower face contouring with long-term results by using radiofrequency energy to melt fat, tighten skin, and create ongoing collagen production after treatment. The device delivers controlled radiofrequency waves to deeper layers of tissue through tiny incisions, allowing it to then stimulate profound collagen remodeling by heating tissue near the dermis to both produce collagen and “shrink wrap” the skin.

How is FaceTiteperformed?

This procedure can be performed with local anesthesia or sedation depending on the patient’s preference. A small incision the size of a pencil eraser is made under the chin and possibly behind each earlobe. After adequate numbing from the local anesthesia is administered, the probe of the device is inserted under the skin in the appropriate subdermal layer. Heat and radiofrequency energy are emitted as determined by your surgeon.

The procedure can be combined with liposuction simultaneously to get maximal results for fat reduction with skin tightening.

The procedure takes about 1-2 hours depending on if liposuction is performed.

What areas does FaceTitetreat?

FaceTiteis designed to treat the lower face and neck. Treatment targets the excess fat and skin laxity that has accumulated around the lower face, near the jawline, and the upper neck. Therefore, the procedure is considered a “non-surgical face and necklift” to target sagging jowls and submental neck area to create a more contoured jawline and silhouette.

This can be used as an initial procedure or as a minimally invasive procedure to “freshen up” a prior facelift or necklift.

What is the recovery from the FaceTite Procedure?

After the procedure, the incisions are closed with absorbable sutures and the patient wears a compression garment for 5-7 days. In general, down time for the procedure is 1-2 weeks with facial swelling and possible bruising. However, after this time, you can resume your normal activities after clearance from your surgeon.

You will see results as swelling resolves. The best results will be at 3-6 months from the procedures to allow for collagen formation and adequate skin contraction.

What are the benefits of  FaceTite and how long does it last?

There are several benefits by choosing FaceTitefacial rejuvenation. First and foremost, you’ll see a younger version of yourself without the risks or downtime that come with surgery. The device has been designed to penetrate more deeply than many other nonsurgical treatments, which means that, although it takes time for your results to mature, they can last up to five years before you need to touch up your tissue laxity!

Being minimally invasive, the FaceTiteprocedure can be performed in the office using just a local anesthetic and can be combined with liposuction. You can expect to be comfortable and well cared for during your appointment with our experienced team!

Another benefit of FaceTitetissue remodeling is that the recovery time is less than what you’d need after surgery.

FaceTiteis the closest device there is to a non-surgical facelift. However, the results are not the equivalent of surgery. Therefore, if you are the right candidate and do not want the downtime associated with surgery, then this could be the best procedure for you!  It is best to have an in person or virtual consultation with one of our facial plastic surgeons to determine if you are an ideal candidate for this procedure.
