Can you believe that 10 years ago Lauren Weisberger’s novel The Devil Wears Prada was released as a major motion picture? Oh, how time has passed! We still remember how excited we were to watch the transformation of an out of style girl become a beautiful butterfly. While the movie ends with the main character, Andrea Sachs, realizing that there is more to life than clothes, we know there are some fashion lessons that you don’t ever forget! (That shouldn’t have been a spoiler alert if the film has been out a decade, right?) Here are some of the Haute Couture designers that Beaty’s Ladies are crazy over:
Growing up in South Florida, Julia was exposed to designer labels at a young age. She loved the texture of the fabric, the quality you could see in each stitch, and the way a great accessory piece could change an entire outfit.

Burberry Check Modal Cashmere and Silk Scarf, $395
While the sweltering heat of Hot-lanta makes it hard to pair scarves with our favorite summer looks, this Burberry signature piece makes it all worth it! Dress it down with a great pair of high waisted dark denim jeans and white linen button down top or dress it up with your little black dress the next time you go to a show at the Fox Theatre.

Izzie by Kate Spade, $328
What is the international color of classy girls? Tiffany Blue, of course! Benish Gilani, our Front Office Manager, has selected Kate Spade’s Izzie Heel as her gift of fashion to our readers! From the dainty buckle closure to the beautiful bow adorning the center back, this 3.5″ heel is a polite nod to all things whimsical and proper. With circle skirts still maintaining their rightful place in summer wardrobes, this set of heels should be on every girl’s feet! Benish will be celebrating her one year wedding anniversary this August, so she felt it fitting to mention that these go great under a wedding gown!

Uptown by Christian Louboutin in Carmin, $845
We can’t talk about signatures and designers without mentioning everyone’s favorite little red sole! Meribeth Williams, our Patient Care Coordinator, loves all things red, so she doesn’t stop at the sole (check out those lips in her photo)! Coined by Christian Louboutin for being the “feminine finish for any look,” these 100mm knockouts will make hearts race. The charming ankle strap and Carmin suede transport you back to the 30’s and 40’s when men were men and women were ladies. Newly engaged and planning a fall wedding, Meribeth is loving this color dubbed Carmin.

Diane Von Furstenberg Hazeline Fitted Colorblock Dress, $428.
As for me, I love dresses! Starting in the fourth grade, I made it a point to wear dresses every day except for Fridays. I try my best to maintain that, even today. This sleeveless colorblock dress is a combination of my favorite design elements- clean lines and the illusion of length.I am not very tall so any chance I can get to elongate my figure is an added benefit. This piece says, “I am just as important as the boys, but I am a helluva lot more stylish.” The midnight blue, orange and khaki beckon you to the shoreline and carry you into late summer. I like to believe that if The Devil Wears Prada was filmed today, Meryl Streep would have totally rocked this!
So, there you have it! The top Must Haves of the ladies in the front office at Beaty Facial Plastic Surgery. We love any chance we get to inspire each other to look and feel great, and we certainly love any chance to reference Anne Hathaway! Check us out on Facebook and Instagram and tell us about your favorite designers and pieces!
