Dr. Beaty started the first solo concierge medical practice in Atlanta and remains dedicated to a customer service focus in the practice of medicine. She trained to use laser to treat acne, rosacea, aging face, and spider veins in 2001 and has followed the improved technologies through the years adding cellulite and vaginal treatments in 2016.
She joined Beaty Facial Plastic Surgery full-time in 2018 following the sale of her concierge medical practice. Dr. Beaty offers preventive and wellness visits, weight loss programs, treats vaginal atrophy and offers a variety of nonsurgical treatments for the aging face and neck, including laser, radiofrequency and neurotoxin injections. In addition to using neurotoxins to prevent wrinkles, as a family medicine physician, she frequently offers injectable neurotoxins to treat pain syndromes such as headaches, TMJ and neck pain.
Dr. Laura Beaty has been practicing medicine in the metro Atlanta area since 1998. She offers non-surgical aesthetic and functional procedures as well as providing wellness and weight loss services for the patients of Beaty MD. Dr. Beaty incorporates DNA testing with her weight loss program to find the diet and exercise program that best fits the genetic needs of the individual. In dealing with the many areas of focus under her purview, she guides the patients she cares for to their best selves.
Dr. Laura Beaty graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1995. She completed a family medicine residency at the University of Iowa where she served as chief resident and was honored with the prestigious resident teaching award. She continued to teach Emory medical and nurse practitioner students in her private practice for a number of years. She maintains board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Beaty started the first solo concierge medical practice in metro Atlanta, Alliance Primary Care, in 2004. After spending a number of years in a regular practice, she fulfilled a desire to focus on relationships and customer service in the practice of medicine. Her successful practice was sold to a Richmond based, concierge medicine company Partner MD in 2013. After many management changes, she chose to leave that practice in 2018 and began working at Beaty Facial Plastic Surgery. During the Covid pandemic, she began working at Northside Urgent Care Centers in metro Atlanta and continues to cover their centers a few days each month.
Dr. Beaty is very community focused and has served on both the Atlanta Regional Commission, Aging Advisory Committee and the Cool Girls Board of Directors where she served as Program Chair for a number of years. She went on the LINK trip from 2008 through 2013 with the purpose of developing a successful regional Atlanta community and is a 2008 graduate of the Regional Leadership Institute.
Dr. Beaty is very committed to health education. She speaks locally and nationally on a variety of health related topics. She has been a featured speaker for local groups such as SunTrust Women’s Advisory Conference, YES, Young Executive Society of Buckhead, Challenger Atlanta Networking Group, and SunTrust Private Financial Management conference to name a few. She has also been a featured speaker on CBS and CNN’s Headline News.

After meeting in medical school, she married Dr. Mark Beaty in 1994. They currently reside in midtown Atlanta with their dog Bruce. They typically spend their time away from Atlanta visiting their daughter Ava in New York City or in either the mountains of North Carolina. Dr. Beaty has a strong group of local friends she loves to spend time with and her hobbies include reading, writing, golf and walking Bruce around midtown Atlanta.
